Question Board speed?

Is the board fast or slow right now?

Thanks....

Fast

BTW , when cable first started in RI it was Cox @ Home and it was fast as greased lightnight. Big performance hit when @Home whent belly up and cox put in their own servers , etc. The cable broadband technology is awesome if done optimally.

getting high speed is more addictive than heroin. I was also happy with V92 dialup until I used dsl for a week. You never go back...

I have had the exact opposite experience. I have had Cox Cable Modem since almost the begining, I guess it was 1997. Back then my incoming speeds were 1-2mbs, and sometimes late at night I could push 3mbs. Now I consistantly get over three, ususally over 4, and at night push 5.

I guess it is where you live.

I did like @home.com vs. the @cox.net, only for what it sounds like when you say it out loud. Then again, maybe people think I am a porn star like john holmes or something
