What did you build 9or are building) this winter?
I did a 7'6" - conv. for bucktailing striped bass that will see an Avet SX.
The componets I'm awaiting arival for are for a kick butt smallmouth spin rod.

Just finished a batson 1088 spinner for a CT Surfcasters raffle, did a fluke rod (forget the blank) a few weeks ago, in the middle of a Zziplex Sea Raider II, GSB 1321L, and 1362M, have a 1081L on the rack, cut and modified an all star 1208, and I have to re-wrap a bunch of warriors. Stupid short winter...

I decided to do backups for all my important rods. Last season a broken rod put a crimp in my fishing and I won't go through that again. I built an 8 1/2', 9' both spinning, 10' spinner & 10' conventional. Now if anything happens I'm covered. Oh and they were all built on blanks from C&G tackle which I like very much. plus I did a couple of do-overs for buddies one of which turned into a nightmare of a twisted/warped blank.
