GREAT DAY!!!!

Decided with the wind and tides to leave a little early, and go over to race point! I had read in the Fisherman that stripers and the cod bite was in! Great ride out, hooked right up with Mr. Morone saxatallis untill slack water.caught 3 keepers,a bunch of schoolies and some sea robins! At one point we even had a short fight with a scuba diver, he was definatley a keeper! 6'-2" , 200+ pounds, would have made a great mount, but he broke off short of the gaff! the ride home was a little ruff, but we've had worse. Didn't jig for any cod, but there where plenty of other boats in tight to the rip jigging away!

Make it idiot proof, and someone will make a better idiot.
