Bomber

Over the years, it seems that a lot of the folks on the board have referenced heavy use of the Bomber/Bomber Long A.

How heavy are these? Unless I have not found the right ones, they are relatively light.

Are you able to throw these on heavy gear, or do you have to scale down quite a bit?

Thanks.

I use them quite a bit on my Arra 1205...thats a pretty heavy rod and it casts them just fine.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

The 6" 16A weighs 7/8 oz I think. I upgrade the rear and front hooks, and leave off the middle hook, so it probably evens out weight-wise.

The 7" 17As are a little heavier---maybe 1-1/2 oz.

The 6" A-Salts weigh 1oz but I find they cast much better than the 7" magnums
on a lighter setup.

The black/purple in either the A-Salt or the magnum is MY goto plug for night fishing.

It would be nice to see the Gag's Mambo come in blurple.

Regardless...thanks for carrying them.

Love the color in Bombers but the Mambos cast further. At least on my two plugging setups they do.Can't weight to fish'em.

on your bombers swap out the hooks for vmc 4X in size 1
or You can go to a 1/0 up front and a 1/0 in back.
or the same with the size 1 also
