Most Adictive Video Game?

What's your most addictive video games?

For me Harpoon, EF2000 ( a few years ago), Quake...

Reason I ask is I downloaded a demo for Battlefield 2 a couple nights ago and I'm addicted and afraid to purchase because of the addiction...

Back in 2000.... Age of Empires. I used to have nightly dreams about it after playing it for hours on end. It was insane. That game was evil.

GTA Vice City.. had a miserable bout with a cold/flu winter before last, had insomnia, either from it, or the meds.. beat every mission/ owned everything, finished it off... Got Godfather for my b-day in March, that was cool too, but finished quicker than GTAVC, definatley hooked till the end with both.
Time wasters for sure.....

Where's BM.. I'd love his answer on this ...

A BM.. tag... your it

Thumbs up

Most addictive for me was NHL Hockey on the first PlayStation when I was in college. I had a buddy that I would play with every night when we came home from our internships. We were cool. 4-way James Bond on Nintendo 64 was big too. Large gatherings in a funky smellin room.

Techmo! My roomates and I would play an entire season with two teams each in a night. Start after work, put the cofee on around 11PM... And yes, Grogan was Da Man!

NHL Hockey was awesome...

The new Tiger Woods.
I must say, I knew we were a bunch of fishing geeks, but it seems to me that we are a large bunch of video nerds as well.

Might and Magic. Not Heroes Of but straight up M&M.Especially 1 thru 5.AD&D Gold Box was a close second.Obvisiously this goes back a few years.Baldur's Gate and NeverWinter Nights are fairly good for the more up to date games.

age of empires is addicting in the fact that you can play for 4 hours straight and wonder where the sunlight went...
Other addictions
Halo
Theif Deadly Shadows
Might and Magic VI (sophomore year in college was rough because of that one)
EQ (shhhh, but got bored of it tried eq2 and was not into)

My favorite addictive games are the ones I can get my gf involved in (co op).. Dark Alliance for xbox was great for that...

anyone know any good co op games these days... need to do some research now for the winter

Always a big fan of Madden....but Techmobowl brought back some old dubbelbarrel memories....

A great Dinosaur Atari game....TANK

...and of course Galaga, I'm sure that helped build strength in my right fore-arm for somethin'

They are definately time-killers thats fer sure....

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

There's one other from back in my highschool days to which Bloo reminded me of when he brought up Atari.

Does anybody remember the game Yar's Revenge?I couldn't stop playing that one.

When they first came out with Doom I played every night until about 4 or 5 AM. After about 2 weeks of no sleep , I took it and all other games off my PC and never loaded another!!
