New

Introduction

New to the forum and plug making. Started making lures as a kid I have over a hundred molds now for making lures. I have always loved catching fish on a lures and flies that I have made. I have been making game calls for a few years just can't get enough of the do it yourself. This is my first run. I still need to clear coat them. Hope my wife is not looking for the grill rotisserie since I'm using it to finish them off. These are made from scrap pieces of oak from another project. I can't wait to try these out on the Chesapeake.

VERY good!

Tagger,

Actually that's my picnic table. My wife just loves the paint spots.

I have to commend you on your plug building skills .. Sorry .. I gotta spank you on your picnic table top... PT should not be near food ... You can make the whole thing out of PT but not the top .. PT+ food = Butt Rott

Tagger,

Picnic table is made from salt impregnated lumber. My father-in made it years ago. It needs to be replaced a lot of boards are warped and starting to rot. I think we used it only a couple of times. PT is some nasty stuff I only use it for landscaping. I'm going with cedar for the next one.

Similar to a datah sharper slope. The bottom is large enough to add a lip. I wanted to test drive it to see if I actually need one. I have a friend that wanted something to troll with. It would be great if I could get one to run 15 to 17 feet without a 3 way or inline weight. I like to tinker around just to see what would happen the school of hard knocks has been the best teacher for me.

Welcome Mike

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
