teak wood/holyland olivewood-

anyone use teak for plugs? seen some on e-bay, there's olive wood from the holyland for sale too. anyone tried olivewood? would the devil's bluefish eat a holyplug

yeah,, it works. makes some seriusly sweet looking plugs. but i wouldnt fish them.
exotic woods are tough to cut.seal. prime . paint. clearcoat....
stick to AYC and poplar

Teak is a very hard wood. Not worth the wear and tear on the tools IMHO.

thanks sk, I'll stay away ff, I'll try the olivewood I have no holy plugs.I found they have a web site and I can get 1x1x6 blanks... inches that is
