I hate these things too

Sketterpops green head thread got me thinking about bugs. These are the ones I hate. They're everywere where I fish, can't put an eel bag down for a minute without 20 getting in it. I even have to shake them out of the plug bag at the end of the night.

Earwigs. More of a nuisance than anything else. No harm to humans. Basically munch on other dead insects and rotting/dead plants.

Isn't it amazing how fast the little buggers can get all over your gear?

its amazing how quick they can find the little gap left when you zip up a soft cooler with eels in it, I had about 20 in the cooler after puting it down for 5 minutes to tie on a new leader and pound a redbull. I don't know why but I feel bad for the eels (who I'm about the smack on a rock and shove a hook down their thoat) when the earwigs are crawing on them.

With all the rain we had spring and early summer its been a banner year for many insects..... earwigs and spiders are in the lead currently.

Another favorite is those black flies that look like a small housefly and in the daytime on beaches like to eat human flesh. F..K they can bite

Good health and family
