Cool

i hadn't anticipated fishing to last up here thru jan (other than the usual winter holdovers) ... but with the unseasonably warm weather we are experiencing, i'm not complaining.

making up for some lost time earlier in the season.

p.s. NY State season for striped bass is CLOSED as of December 15.

I've been getting fish consistently in SoCo. Had 14 and 17.5 lbers on 12/20 and 12/21. Since then most of the fish have been smaller although I know for a fact of at least 1 40" fish that was caught withing the last 5 days in SoCo.

No boat, back in the suds.

Peanuts along SoCo shoreline

Reliable source had lots of peanut bunker close to shore last Friday.
Gulls and Loons chased them up on to shore. Gear was put away for winter so he doesn't know if there were fish with them....
Jeepers...
