Looking at the Specs on that Lami it looks like it would be a good Canal Rod...do a lot of guys use that to jig the ditch?

They're a little on the soft side for jigging at full length. But there are a lot of cut down ones out there
Cut back 6" from each end, it's great for jigging. Used to be the standard "5M" convench at one time, when the blank was known as the Lami 1165.
