as you know I am Pro strong economy. A place like a casino is just a drag on society like a sponge that sucks the life out. It adds nothing of value to the economy as far as a commodity or product or anything like that. Sure, your business will profit from having a high dollar casino in the area and our moron governor will most likely allow casinos somewhere in this whacked out state, but it is not going to make it a better place. The town does not want a casino period.
Atleast you have a sense of humor about it Mike limo looza

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Limo Looza!! You should save that video Mike. Someday you can look back and have a big chuckle .

Do movie theaters , performing arts , speakers at fishing gatherings , etc do any different than a casino? They all provide entertainment from my point of view.

I am very familiar with statistics and probability so I seldom gamble but once every 3 or 4 years , i like to go and see a concert and play a little blackjack , pig out at the buffet , etc until my budget (usually $200) runs out.

I understand many have a gambling problem. We many also buy golf clubs and fishing gear and booze . Nobody is trying to ban that kind of bsuiness to protect people from themselves. Why should the casino be any different?

Anyway , like most other "sin" activities , I think people should have to protect themselves from excess. I think it should be like any other business in fact. Other than the same taxes a cleaner business or gas station must pay , I don't even think the state should get a cut and I don't think the people who want to open these businesses should be impaired by the state governments.

One thing I think should be illegal if the state is going to get involved is the availability of loans at the casino. If you didn't carry it in as cash when you got there , you need to stop gambling when you run out. No loans , liens on cars , boats or houses , etc.

Anyway , I'm glad the Limo Looza can laugh about his nickname.

Hmmmm!

The town don,t want a Casino.
Did I miss something I think the vote was 2-1 in favor. But that is history now.
Morals! Casinos drain, no product, Hmmm! sounds like Booze.
How many times do we open the papers to some drunk killing someone. I hate booze and I do my part every year to help save a life. all these anti Casino people just came out the wood work with there Morals. Come on lets stop booze. If a resort is so wrong it corrupts why do we let ciggs and booze get sold. Look at the drain on our society with that garbage, but you know we allow it because we have rights in this country.

Give some solutions to generate the billions this State needs. whats the alternative 11 cent Gas tax, $7.00 tolls, 5 cent road user fee what happens to the consumer all these get passed on to us so in actuality we are pa double the tax watch the fuel go up and then everything thing that gets shipped by a fuel driven vehicle will follow.

Its a 1500 room resort Hotel, confrence center,Golf with a gaming aspect what if they built all that on at the track would there be a problem.

Most Antis dont really care as long as its not in my back yard.

Well Im anti drinking get that garbage out of my State!

That video was a riot. Are you supposed to be the Koolaid Guy? You know what they say - any publicity is good publicity. As for the casino, I am not necessarily for it because of my own selfish reasons. I live nearby and travel 495 often. I don't need more drunks and idiots on the road with me. There are plenty already. Also, I like to travel 495 late night/early morning going to and from the cape. Hopefully, most of the drunks will be getting rides with you. My other reason I'm not for it is because it causes problems for local employers. It takes a lot of people out of the workforce and makes it hard for the small businesses to find decent help. Also, it isn't really going to help many of the local businesses like restaurants because they will have them at the casino and people are not going to leave the casino to go eat or shop. That being said, I will probably go once in a while to play some craps. I enjoy that and roulette, but definitely won't be there on a regular basis.
