Left handed reel
I'm building up a 9 foot conventional rod to throw some plugs.....I need a decent left handed reel.....Any suggestions? Thx

Shimano Calcutta TE401
Shimano Calcutta Conquest TE401
in that order...
If money isn't a problem and you want a reel thats easy to adjust from 1oz to 5oz check out the conquest...
I regret selling mine but i needed the $$...
I own the other 2 and the TE gets more use... the abu got used but i like the cast button on the shimano much more...

Abu 6501CTS - balances perfectly. Spool up with sufix 40 lb and a long shock leader ---

Thanks for the input......I plan on checking out the 6501CTS....Just curious, twhats the difference with the CTS and the CS? I am not too familiar with Abu reels.

check out the diawa luna also
similar to the calcutta but you don't have to get the te version to get a lefty

only had it for a year, but it held up well. i don't use conventional tackle in abusive conditions, mostly when I know I'll be staying dry.
