It would definitly be the day that me, my buddy, and my dad went bait fishing off MV and caught over forty 20+# fish for hours. One of the best fishing days in my life.

Catching 35# fish while standing in the wash in mid sept.? Me on a 2 oz. white hab's.....Clogston on a herring atom jr. There were better nights and bigger fish but for some reason that last flurry that night was alot of fun.

Standing in pea soup fog in the dark out on chappy during the derby, 30 feet between shoulders, headlights running from and back to the water all down the beach. Thanks again to the bossman and the basic one. I love the vineyard!

This fish, that ate a yellow Gibbs pencil for the unluckiest of my kids, made for the best moment of my year.

Mine was......probably......the night I was fishing with Slingah and Joey G. local! They were slaying on eels for a couple hours side by side while I was laying them to waste on my "Prey" swimmers! They were catching them bigger than me but I can guarantee I was having more fun!!! Best part of my 07' was the results from that plug! She shines! Slingah....you?
Don.....very satisfying for me seeing you catch that fish....as jealous as I was I was even more happy for you! I know what it meant to you....mine will come in time!

trying to haul my first 40 out to the truck. i was holding her head at the height of mine. during the walk back i could feel the tail slapping against my calves. sweet! my adrenaline was going too strong for me to realize exactly what was happening during the actual fight.

Fishing in my skiff one day back in June with Danny, we got them pretty good for a while and Dan wanted to go so I said ok one more fish, so I slap on a handcarved flat sided plug for RM Smith from a swap that has an unbelievable paintjob on it. First cast it gets a hit in 20 feet of water, next cast 25 pound bass
not my biggest fish of the year but my most memorable.

A snotty night in September with an on shore wind and rain after a after a really rough day. Caught a bunch of fish in the 24" range keeping it interesting when I hooked up with a nice one. 15 minutes later it rubbed the plug off on a rock and was gone. Ended up with a destroyed plug and a bad day put behind me.

All alone on a weekday in my tin boat on bright summer day in 3 feet of water and 100's of fish all around and tossing unweighted sluggo's to the fish I would pick out of the crowd and watching the fish chase down and eat the bait. One after another.

Not to be a smart-.ss, but the seal hookup was mine. I have never seen a heavy rod bend like that ever. Thought I had a world record stripa on da hook.

luds, that was a good night. luckily it died when it did, before the dawn patrol arrived
best night, first night that luds and I got into fish. expectations were low and the night turned out great. got my first 3 40s. tough to beat that.
most memorable fish was this one. not because its the biggest, but because john was really excited about the picture and we went back and forth quite a bit about the plug through e-mails before he passed.

Third week in october just outside mouth of the merrimack--school of sandeels 1/2 a mile long with blues underneath. 4 hours of nonstop large blues, fish were still biting when me and my buddy threw in the towel because our shoulders were aching, good way to end the season.

1. Watching my daughter catch her first saltwater fish a snapper blue was the best moment of the year. It beat the 52 pound striper. It beat 15 tuna in one trip. It even beat the monster marlin in the canyon and even the sailfish down in Aruba. She is my favorite fishing partner.

My favorite moment had to be when I was watching the wife and kid battle bluefish at the same time. I couldn't fish because I had to keep releasing theirs.

2 favorite moments, the look on my 11 year old son's face when I brought his 39" bass over the rail, and watching my 7 year old fight a 10# tautog. It doesn't get any better that that

Taking my son out (19) who does not come out too often, and putting him on a 30+ pounder in front of everyone else that got NADA.
Then he slips her back in the water and we watch all their jaws drop !!!
Great day.
