A few outings that stand out forme:
One of my first outings with a new kayak and getting some good size blues on top water. Catching my albie first was also a highlight
Watching my daughter(she is 8): Catching some good size large mouth bass, another time she was landing doubles while scup fishing

September 07
Fishing on the canal with my brother. My brother and I are NOT close but when my father passed away in September my brother and I were making funeral plans with my mom and the funeral director brought up fishing. We started talking about fishing with the FD and after we left the funeral home I asked my brother if he wanted to sling some snakes at the canal to reduce the stress level. He accepted the offer..
He met me at my house at 2:00am and we drove down to the canal with another friend of mine, all three of us had our bikes with us we stopped at a few of the known eel slinging locations. We had alot fish attacking the eels but no actual hookups. During that time we had great conversations and had an overall great time.
The cool thing was after we left around noon the next day fish started bustin all over the place...my brother and my friend were too tired to fish but I was glad to see my brother see a mini canal blitz....great time! Hopefully we can do it again but under better circumstances.
