Cotton Cordell ?

Does it matter any if you load the bigger popper from the rear top or rear bottom or is it all the same & how much shot, an ounce I assume is OK.

May fortune favor the foolish....

Makai,
Try and contact Stiff Tip. He uses different loads for different applications. Has a special weight/load for the canal and a lighter load for general surf use.

It was mentioned that the bomber version and possibly the original cordell have chambers that have a gap of 1/8 inch between chambers.
Therefore using a lead shot of greater then 01 will prevent the shot from moving between chambers

My friend uses 7 shot, and he says that one load is 1-1/8 oz. Just cuts the shell and dumps the shot into the plug.

Of course in Mass you need an FID card, at minimum, to buy ammo.
