Briarwood Close Permanently

Just got off the phone with the Harbormaster in Wareham, and he told me that Briarwood and the parking area is closed permanently. I said thank you without asking why and hung up. This is very discouraging. I had heard it might re-open this year. He said the Conservation Commission did this. I was wondering if MikeCC could make a call on this at it reflect on his business and he may know people in town that might actually tell him the real reason its closed.
