Does anyone know how many and if any fishermen went to the town conservation committee meeting or whatever town meeting when they made the decision to close the area. Isn't there a fishing club down that way that pays attention to what is going on? Someone had to know there was a threat to the access.

Maybe we should overwhelm the town managers office with complaint emails and phone calls. Maybe we should start alling businesses that we spend money in and let them know we won;t be ther this year because of the town closing access.

Maybe we should all hammer MA DMF with emails.

Maybe we should hammer Therese Murray the local State Senator with emails

Then again we could just complain on the internet and loose more and more access.

Agreed! The problem I have is that I nearly always learn about it after the fact. If we centralize and broadcast these access issues, then I think that would really help to keep our access. Twitter?

Fishing should not be political.

This is the problem with fishing today...you have to attend fruitless meetings now that do more to aggravate you than anything else.

The whole concept of going fishing is to get you OUT of meetings and controversy like this and get you outside alone or with a friend to enjoying the environment I am tired of going to meetings, I find them boring and a waste of my time. If I have to attend meetings to go fishing...I am going to play more golf. (so far I have golfed 3X this year and gone fishing 0X)
