Ditto. Fished 2 different spots with plugs and eels and had the same results. Only thing I got was a scraped up hand from climbing onto a barnacle covered rock.

Crash landing

I hit an outflow and had a fish on first drift (short drift at that) using a bone colored loaded Redfin. Dropped it though.

Weeds were an issue, got some bumps, and then the tide crapped out and the fish moved out.

Skunked, but sure I could have done something had I gotten there earlier in the tide.

Steady pick of schoolies but one decent fish around 15#.. Finicky bite though. Hooking up on the second take. Fished from 9-12. The mosquitos were absolutly killing me though.

That moon sucked, 3 hours of NADA in a very fishy spot - I wish i could have stayed until after the moon set. I wouldn't even try until 3am or so.

Tonights my last shot a good fish for a couple weeks, so I am hoping for somthing to weigh in. Been giving it hell all week with little sleep, so somthing has to give.

I am going to Virginia Beach to my buddys house right on the Chesapeake, I wonder if there are any "holdover" cows down there?

Two spots, 3 hours, near the entrance of the bay - nada.

I did get the bleep scared out of me when someone crawled out on my ledge & asked me if anything was happening. Did not see him until he was 10 feet away.

Managed a few fish Thursday night; dropped a few as well. Fished the same spot last night, similar time span, without a hit. Just a little more water on Thursday, but I also reeled in a live squid on a stubby needle. That the bass were present feeding on squid may explain why I was hooking up on a bone Red Fin.

Four hours of eels and plugs resulted in a few small fish. Followed by 2 hours of chunking picked up 2 in the mid 30" range.

Found a little rip that's been good to me the last 4 nights.

Steady pic of small keepers, 4 mid teens and a couple mid 20's.

I was going to try some new water but by the sounds of things I think I'll stay at it.

Last three predawn thru daybreaks: one 26" fish total at the Canal. Even Old Skip was baffled and hitless on his Canal perch this morning, and he'd been in there since 2 AM. A deep night eeling Beach under the moon Thurs. netted me one small bass, but the other eel I used literally drowned hitless before I removed it over an hour later.

I can't create any consistent game plan. Two nights prior, this identical itinerary delivered me a 24 and a 17.

I'll add to the positivity in this thread and share that I was horribly skunked on Saturday night followed by a 1 fish to show for my 2AM wake up. HOPEFULLY!
