Congrats, Paul. A great accomplishment. Yet another S-B shore winner! Enjoy the day and keep us updated if you can.
What time is your ferry? Do you even have a boat hitch?

Thanks all - no boat hitch. Not sure what I'd do with the boat as I'm not a boat person. I'll deal with that if I have to
We may just walk on the ferry and take a cab????

I didn't stay for the awards ceremony today, but I hope you get the right key Paul. Love the color of the hull.
Taxi prices on the island are outrageous.

Awesome! Good luck with that key today. Think of something to say in case you win (and also to the guys from the Gazette and the MV Times.) The painting is pretty cool too. The cab is a pain in the arse; you have to lug all that stuff with you in the cab, on the boat, then in the shuttle bus to the parking lot... just sayin... Congrats!

You're in the books now Paul! I've got my fingers crossed, I think you're going to like that boat.

Still beats the R/T ferry fare for a vehicle.
SSA one way fare for a 40 minute ride, vehicle only--$67.50. Add $7.50 one-way for the driver. $75 total fare, one way.
Orient Point/New London ferry one way fare for vehicle and driver, for an hour and a half ride--$49.50.
And the SSA is a publicly-subsidized carrier.

Yeah, he called me just before catching the ferry home. But nice prize package.... and he said the best part is that down the road, when the prizes are spent and gone, he'll always be a Derby champ! Nice job, Paul, and thanks for the call.
