Still beats the R/T ferry fare for a vehicle.

SSA one way fare for a 40 minute ride, vehicle only--$67.50. Add $7.50 one-way for the driver. $75 total fare, one way.

Orient Point/New London ferry one way fare for vehicle and driver, for an hour and a half ride--$49.50.

And the SSA is a publicly-subsidized carrier.

Still, cheap compared to Nantucket...IF you can even find room for your car on the boat!
