Van Staal pliers question

Closer to the jaws, anvil or cutter ?
Need to order a replacement and don't remember which is which.

Van Staal pliers

Ronnie ,

Look at the inserts , one is flat on the cutting edge the other is more to a point the flat is the anvil the pointed one is the cutter. beware i heard a while back there was a bad run of these parts , the design is such that the large hole for the screw weakens the insert being Tungston Carbide .

VS made and released new cutters late fall, early winter last year.

Sorry Ronnie last time I replaced mine it cost $22 a piece so I did both
