Try Champlin's on Block Island. Very nice, all the facilities, live bands and a bar on the dock. Snack bar open late......can't beat it.

Try "Southern view" marina in Jerusalem if you want to stay on the mainland. On Block try Champlain's.

That just doesn't sound natural to me.

I have a hard time taking romantic walks along the beach. Seems i always see a swirl, flash or some other indication of fish. I get distracted easily.

Best regards,
Roger

sort of off subject but - west marine in Braintree has chartbooks from Narragansett to Nantucket for $20 in their discount corner.

and to stay on subject - bring a fishing rod, nothing is worse than seeing birds busting and not having your gear. You don't have to go for them, but knowing that you can will give you peace of mind.

have a good trip.

Wink

I forget the name of the lot but there is a public lot right at Point Judith that I have left the boat at for several nights in a row while staying at Champlin's. From there you launch, take a left under a short little bridge, take another left and you can see the breakwater at Point Judith.

I would park the truck and trailer there, stay at Champlin's, and have a great time!

Sorry but I don't feel comfortable giving you any more detailed advice than that seeing as it's your anniversary! ;-)
