Hello,

I live in Cambridge, MA and I am looking for a bait and tackle shop close by where I can buy eels.

Thanks,

There isnt any store around Cambridge that sells eels. If you are willing to drive to Waltham, there is a store that sells eels or you can go to Everett (Pete Santani's)

Now, I'm no business barron, but if I was to open an eel store, I doubt that the Cambridge area would be high up there on my list. For some reason, I just don't think the demand would be too high, and I think I'd have to sell a lot of eels to make rent

Ok enough of being a jerk for me. I don't have a clue where to find eels. I live in Norwood. The best bait and tackle store around here is Wal-Mart. Now that is weak

If you've got time, get a minnow trap and toss it into the Charles or Mystic. My first try in the Parker yielded over 20 in about 2 hours using an old SB rack. Fished all night and had plenty left over for skins and rigging.

Hey Notaro, can your dad hook up some catering? I think the turnout would be 200% greater at just about any meeting with 50 lbs of bonless spareribs and some scorpion bowls!!

Get a 15-20 gallon tote and an aquarium pump. Load up next time you get eels and keep reserve at your house. Comes in handy at 3 am . Plus you can cull out the smaller ones. A couple changes of water and they won't smell. Been caught changing water in my condo complex. Got some strange looks. Where did you get your eels? My spare bedroom!

My girlfriend would not stand for that. I am lucky that she can deal with my fishing stuff taking up the spare bedroom.
