Breakaway clips...

Where can I get a hold of a few. I know M&D's carried them, but I can't locate them on the site. Any other suggestions as to where to procure a handful?

Which size are you looking for? The smaller ones seem hard to come by. I think Cabella's should have both sizes. I ordered some of the larger ones from the fisherman's headquarters and the came within a few days.

30lb clips are what I have used. I'll keep looking around.

I agree. These are a pain to get. No one seems to sell them in bags more then 10. I suspect the problem is they are made in the UK. We need to get someone here to make them in BULK and quit screwing around with little tiny envelopes with a couple clips in there. This is not rocket science. I am surprised SPRO does not make a clip like this too. Who else in the wire industry can make these?

M&D's had them a couple weeks ago (I ordered a few bags) They were under the swivel link I think but they are gone now..he mentioned to me that they had not shipped in a while.

I emailed the breakaway company directly and asked to purchace them in bulk...I have never got a response. (probably don't have internet over there yet )


You might try the large size gemini clip, you can then them in 100's for $20.00 thru stamina.

I bought two bags of the 80lb clips at Mike's on Wednesday. He had two bags left (10 count I believe) he had two bags left. I bought a bunch from him in the fall so I am stocked for the next year at least. He said they have been backordered since January and he is trying his best to get them. He is trying for 1000 count bags. I hope they come thru. He is out of the smaller 35 lb. ones. I couldn't think of using anything else again.

I would jump on a 1000 count bag if I had the chance! These are possibly the best addition to my surf arsenal in a LONG time.

me too! I would take 1000 if I could get them at a half way decent price.
