So when is everyone going to start fishing?

I plan on starting the 16th of may after all
my chores are complete. then it is all about
fishing until the end of November. and some
pool maintenance and lawn mowing but I try
to get my kids to do that

Went yesterday. Hit a couple spots close to home. No fish .

It was good to get out and in the water.

Well finally broke the ice (figuratively) and went down to the Lower Conn. this weekend. I was using small storm shads and got nada. When I got back to the park n' fish area a group of guys was getting them on sandworms off the pier, 17"-22". I was in serious need of a de-skunking, so I ran to the tackle shop, and they were closed. But on the bright side, it was a glorious weekend, got some great pics and my first sunburn of the season. Let the games begin!

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

First year the ice been berry berry good to me.
Nicer these days, though.
Maybe tomorrow.
Later,
Rick
