lead core
does anyone here use leadcore for surfcasting?? i dont mean spooling a whole reel with it, i mean using 10 feet or 20 feet to get your plug down.... Am i charting un charted waters here, or are there other folks doing this????

any thoughts?

I don't think it would cast very good Eben. Too heavy and limp. Try it on a fly rod. LOL

id be doing this on a abu-7000 big game.

with the right plug i bet it could be deadly.
