Cabela's Coming To CT.

Today's Hartford Courant reports with a Cabela's spokeman a 200,000 square foot superstore is planned at the former Rentschler airfield in East Hartford. Will take about a year to build and would employ about 450 workers and would have a musesum, aquarium, restaurant and other features. Certainly will put the last of the little guys out of business, hopefully they gear to both the freshwater and saltwater fishing here in the northeast.

That would be excellent...my Dad has gone to the one in PA...says its unbelievable.

Not likely.The "little guy" provides goods and services no superstore will ever be able to provide.

This is fantastic news. Now I can stop by when I'm driving through on business and drop off the 4,000 pounds of paper catalogs I get every year

- now have to pay CT sales tax. Guess larger ticket items go to bass pro shops.
