It doesn't start easy, but once you get that sand burning, there's almost no way to put it out  |

Depends on which part of M you're talking about.
Legal on Suffolk County beaches (Shagwong).
Illegal on the State Parks sections.

Also legal on all Twn beaches, which is 99% of Montauk. Hither hills is also a state beach where no fires are permitted. And where some of the best fishing occurs, if you know where to go, and how to get there. |
