Spot burning in Montauk -- Who are these guys?
Wood is good for more than just plug building, especially this time of the year.
Who are these surf rats?

It doesn't start easy, but once you get that sand burning, there's almost no way to put it out

Depends on which part of M you're talking about.
Legal on Suffolk County beaches (Shagwong).
Illegal on the State Parks sections.

Also legal on all Twn beaches, which is 99% of Montauk. Hither hills is also a state beach where no fires are permitted. And where some of the best fishing occurs, if you know where to go, and how to get there.
