We need some help if you can, a member can use a lift
I'll try to be brief. In the spirit of Christmas season, someone close to us all can use some support. It seems bassmaster/ Dave Manzi is having a rough go of it this past month and missed work most of the month and could use some help with Christmas money for the kids as he's had some health troubles. Any donations any of you can help out with would be most appreciated.
We are all set for donations now. Thanks
I know we seem to have lots of fundraising raffles but we should do a quick one for Dave. If anyone cares to donate items to the raffle, please post here or PM me. JohnR can handle the money part for the tickets thru paypal on the site http://www.striped-bass.com/manzidonate.html , I guess a check would work also as long as you get it to John within a week as time is flying and we'd like to help Dave out before Christmas. The sooner we get this going the better. We'll try to keep it simple.
I'll keep track of the donated items and collect them and disperse them to the winners. Once we get a list, I can post them all on another thread and begin selling tickets at maybe $10 per ticket and maybe 3 for $20 if that sounds good.
****** Also if you are buying tickets, please include your boardname so we know who you are *******
Today (friday Dec. 9th) is the last day to mail out checks for tickets, thank you
send raffle items to:

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

I am not sure of the situation, nor am I a member of this forum that long, but since it is the season of giving, and I am an avid fly tyer if you could pm me a message for an address, I would not mind sending in a a half dozen or so flies for your auction. I will be going home this weekend [at school at the zoo, will need to tie up some more, since I am not sure how many I have (been in Alaska this whole summer)] and will be able to send half a dozen or so flies if your interested

I don't know Dave, except by his reputation as a master lure carver, but I will donate a Teal (GW) I carved back in the early 90's. It's a 3/4 size decoy.
I'll get it in the mail tomorrow and will post a pix here as soon as I get new batteries in my camera.
