finallly got some done
Here's a few from my first batch of the winter. These took forever. I'm not sure what to call them. They are not really hand carved, they were turned on the lathe. But before they went on the lathe I ran the stock thru the table saw and beveled the sides then sanded em over so both sides are kind of curved. Maybe you'll see it in the pics.
in hindsight I should have done the sides by hand after they were turned, as it made it really tough to cut the lip slots as the sides were rounded. My original prototype used a danny 1 lip which would have been a lot easier but it seemed like these were better suited to the lexan. Thanks to the guys who gave me advice on the lexan and the airbrush (I went with the iwata eclipse bcs), I'm really happy with the way these turned out.
These are 5 1/2 " and right around 2 oz.

Those are really nice. Let us know how they swim. Any belly weight in them?

Great looking plugs, love to see how they swim.
