Mine has been there since 2/15 according to my delivery confirmation. No word yet. I was planning on 5 weeks so the countdown is on.

I sent mine in about 3-4 weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if I wait another couple weeks. It's gonna take longer this time of year. Next year I'm going to try and send it in January.

Yeah, my wife kept telling me to send it in earlier... I HATE it when she's right. (which is quite often)

Sent it out late November and got it back in three weeks. Problem now is the drag came back AFU, so it needs to go back again. I just ordered a new spool, and hopefully that will help the drag problem. I will send the whole mess back next fall. Has anyone sent just the spool out, or do you need to send the whole thing? Don't want to risk a long turnaround this time of year.

Is this a confirmation email from VS or USPS? If it is from VS that would be new, I've never heard of that before.
Definitely if possible send it earlier rather then later, most years it seems to take a month or a little longer if they receive the reel after New Years. I bet that's approximately the time most NY and NJ reels start pouring in to the factory...

My delivery confirmation was from USPS.
I recently sent an email to VS via their website and inquired about my reel, they responded the same day indicating that it should ship to me the week of the 27th. If it does, that will be 6 weeks.
