When do you go into Vampire Mode?
For me it's mid-late May. Anyone start hitting the night tides earlier?

One night - about 15 years ago - I was at an outflow in Rhody on May 5th and a who's who of RI Surfcasters were there - all getting big fish. I never would have known about it except for an invite.
But usually I don't switch over until the 15-20th of May.

Mid May for me, but i go into full vampire mode after i bang that first fish over 20lbs, i switch over almost instantly.  |
