Nice fish, I spent two weeks at the Cape, fishing was slow, the bay was best mostly small bass and some bluefish, lots of bait around.

Thanks guys, the bass were eating silversides and didnt wont
to touch a plug but throw a eel out there and they would inhale
it . The spot I got them Is full of rocks so you have to turn the fish
pretty quick or they go into the rocks and brake off.
Yeah its tough but what a blast

60plus is a little high. There is a spot here in CT where we catch late fall migrators (not schoolies) into early December when the water surface temps are in the upper 40s. That is the swan song. It seems to be best when temps are in the 50s. Last couple of years the f-ing blues have stayed until the bitter end. They are supposed to leave and give us a few weeks of just bass.......

The past few days in my spots in Ct. , the blues have dwindled to almost nothing, we still have arse laods of big bunker, and some serious large have moved in. We dont have much on the side of little bait right now so schoolies have also been abscent on most nights. I'm a really happy camper.
