Rod Questions

I'm going to be buying a new surf rod soon. Has anyone used or has heard of anything about, 1) Lamiglas XSRA 1084 2) Lamiglas XSRA 1205 (NEW) or the Lamiglas XS91MHS

All great rods, but we need more info on what your applications are.

the 1084 is a great rod for 1.5 to 3 oz plugs , eels , rubber . its rated for 4 but I would never throw over 3 with it . It may handle it but I dont want to find out . this rod has a lot of back bone to pull in good fish .

In addition, I have a 1081L which is the same blank as the XS9MHS. I live this freaking thing, however only up to 2.5oz. It has great backbone, but lifting a decent size fish up the side of a jetty...that's a different story
