Dad caught this one from the beach the other night. Would have let it go but it was in poor condition and wouldn't have survived. its in the freezer now.

aka Yellowtail?

Standing on the water, casting your bread
While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing
Distant ships sailing into the mist
You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing

Now if you were in florida I'd say amberjack. Good job from shore. back in 89 I worked a charter boat down there with a friend of mine. If the mahi or sails weren't cooperating we could usually salvage a trip by fishing for AJs. Fun fish.

I'll bet that's a hell of a fight from shore.

The weather came good and so did the fish.

A 20kg (44lb) mulloway off the beach north of Kalbarri WA

Hi MAC amberjack is a very close relative of the samson fish and yep it put up a very good effort as did the mulloway.

Cheer's
