Renewal

After watching for a week, I saw my first scout (herring) tonight at a Falmouth run. Just one, but it means a lot. Winter is done. He made it, I made it, we made it. Feels good.

There were a handful of herring in the Wareham run this morning.

Forget the April Fool's storm--back in the late 70s, in Pawtucket, we had 5" of snow the second week of May.

I don't remember if it was 91 or 92 but it snowed a few inches at about the same time in May.It was freakish because the day started out in the 50s and by late afternoon it was snowing.

April 1, 1997 24" of snow in Boston, came down at 3" per hour for a two hour period. March 30th the temp was 65 degrees.

It ain't over yet.
