How are you planning of fishing 2020

Lots of biking to spots rumblings.

Seems like you have to think outside the box this year.

My first fishing is usually Cutty weekend, but that is likely toast.

Fingers crossed that the 75th MV Derby will not got blown up.

Just starting to consider what do and how to do it myself. Might try the "commando biking with friends at an acceptable social distance" approach.

Any thoughts?

You can still go out on your boat. The MA ramps aren’t closed, and once you’re out there you’re a ways from everyone. Just don’t put too many people on your boat. Bottom fishing may be better; no head boats to catch all the fish.

I got my Mass Saltwater Fishing Permit today...…
Frost on the boat cover... going to hold off pulling that back.

Trip #3 tomorrow....
The floats went in yesterday, it’ll be interesting to see if I’m alone again at the ramp and on the water with the floats in...

My guess is the one lane ramps will be the safest..

Mid May on in the waders could be troubling

Hit a local pond this morning, flat calm at 7:30, blowing hard NE over 51 degree water when I said that’s enough. Probably 15 fat pickerel and half dozen yellow perch, I’m not ready to hit the salt until it warms some.

This is not over and it's speading. Keep it localized. We trout fished this past weekend and some a s s h o l e walked next to my son. Everyone else adhered to the protocol. Only takes one.

Here's why it's getting worse. 4 weeks ago I knew nobody with this. 3 weeks ago I knew 2 people, 1 week ago I knew of some who overcame it, mixed with "ohh so and so" and so and so have it. Now I know of direct family who have it (mostly because they are in the health industry) one passed last night. We are mid state CT and it's heading east. It's getting worse because there is no protocol for stopping at state lines. My state projects my area to peak in mid May. Eastern CT to peak after.

My Aunt got diagnosed today as an RN in an infantry ward.

Just a PSA this is not gone.

Stay safe, stay away from everyone.

That being said, we are planning to fish this year as a unit. My wife is invited and she better shape up for mega weekends of exploring.

I agree with you Linesider. Same experience relationship wise for us.
The last week or so we've had 4 deaths and 4 more positives. So you are right, this isn't close to being over. They haven't even started to test the nurses and CNA's where my wife works. Unbelievable.

Wifes a nurse in local nursing home they wont even give the staff N95 masks and they dont test staff and seem to be slow testing residents .. and with my recent kidney removal iam a bit concerned.for both of us Seeing I cant social distance from my wife . When she comes home. Its week by week for us . Hoping it stays away. Would like to take the antibodies test when it comes on line .. maybe we been exposed and only had mild symptoms.....

Seriously, Wayne? That is playing Russian Roulette....
Can I send some N95 masks to you for her? Pretty sure I could source some....

Thanks everyone for the offers . We have found ppe shes just not allowed to use one from home ... it's strange. I think it's more the 24 year old Administrator was told by the company boss , if one nurse has one they'll will all want one and were not spending the money

And not having an active covid19 case in house has given managment a false sense of security... I know Corrections give staff n95 masks to limit exposure to the inmate who are in their cells the 23 hrs ,, the staff will give it to the resident's those people dont travel.. but staff do.. it's crazy iam thinking I should get into disorder management and make money because the decision making process for her nursing home and other business is nonexistant
