Seriously, Wayne? That is playing Russian Roulette....
Can I send some N95 masks to you for her? Pretty sure I could source some....

Thanks everyone for the offers . We have found ppe shes just not allowed to use one from home ... it's strange. I think it's more the 24 year old Administrator was told by the company boss , if one nurse has one they'll will all want one and were not spending the money
And not having an active covid19 case in house has given managment a false sense of security... I know Corrections give staff n95 masks to limit exposure to the inmate who are in their cells the 23 hrs ,, the staff will give it to the resident's those people dont travel.. but staff do.. it's crazy iam thinking I should get into disorder management and make money because the decision making process for her nursing home and other business is nonexistant

Call the local news. Hospitals around here are taking donations from private citizens and businesses, lunacy that she can’t protect herself at work... or protect others from her if she were to become ill.

I hate the aspect of drop a dime, but a dime should be dropped when people are doing lousy to harmful practices against their employees AND their patients.
The entire purpose for shutting down visitors from nursing homes is to to prevent the intrusion of the virus from those that are outside into the resident, highly susceptible population. Keeping non-essential people out is step one, masking the sessential people to mitigate spread is step two.

I considered typing a drop a dime comment last night.... But this, this is exactly what I suspected, and is, if not criminal action in this environment, at least what is wrong in our society. A business owner totally willing to sacrifice his employees in the pursuit of his profit...
Given what is going on I can't believe this hasn't been exposed already. Not wanting to risk your wife's job, but... I would drop the dime if a birdie somehow, unknown to me. were to provide a name of the business. Or town... (yeah, I can be a prick when I see blatant wrong doing...)

I have been suggesting that I call the State or the CDC . But my wife insist I dont. not sure if its pride or she thinks lose her Job , the state made the put hand sanitizers in each room they would even do that (common sense ) .. I am a union guy and they are not a fit for all industries,, but if they had one this wouldn't have been an issue I might call local state rep or the state to see what the current guidence is..

Hate to say it, but if it is bad as you state, there is serious negligence going on.

But on a more positive note, I should point out to all the 'yakkers out there that this is a historic opportunity! I'm guessing this is gonna
take a lot of the motorboats off the water, as people can't go out with their friends, so this may open up a LOT of areas for yakking in the summer that weren't doable before due to constant wakes. My list would include, where I have 'yakked before (have posted trip
reports on a number of spots)
Portsmouth Piscataqua
Hampton Harbor
Ipswich Crane Beach
Gloucester Harbor
Salem/Beverly Harbor
Boston Harbor
Canal (either side; watch for those currents)
and not to mention for the freshwater guys:
Winni too!
It's personally already affected me in that it will cause me to switch my annual Wareham sea bass motorboat rental trip to a 'yak trip,
but that's OK! It's one I've been looking forward to doing for a long time. Off we go yakkers!
