Ho boy. I know he don't need this "plug," but I can personally attest that BM's pikies CATCH FISH.
Best worked in calm water.

Crap, Dave you're parting with some needles too?
ChrisL has a gorgeous blue needle you made for him, I saw him fish that on a sandy beach in Rhody and that thing is deadly.
Check your snail mail in the next few days bub...

p.s. I still have a good month of Fall run fishing left in CT

any big pike's left? I will take them all. These troll GREAT and I caught some nice fish on them this fall. I got a big yellow one in the auction and put a yellow hackle on the tail hook and took a slew of fish trolling it on wire.

Dayum, I just saw that tuna lure.
Do you know how many offshore guys down in Hatteras would kill for that thing? I could have used that in July... The yellowfins weren't biting on medium troll but that thing on a slow troll would murder 'em.
Looks like a baby mahi-mahi.
If Sandman don't want it, I'll take it.

 Oink Oink!
I have to be honest I rarely fished the pike my entire life...until last year when I got one from bernzy for the surf...now it is in my bag all the time.
Later I used that big fat yellow one the bm made for the auction. I could not believe now well it trolled. Probably the best single plug I have ever trolled...I am not kidding, it was my go to trolling plug this year, it is really sweet, swims perfect and catches too. I saw several guys eyeballing me closely when I pulled it up..heard one guy say to another "some kind of yellow trolling plug hes got on".

Sandman, I'm with you.
BM makes some really nice surf plugs, but like you said some of the stuff he makes is deadly for slow-trolling. I came to realize this on a number of offshore trips. The back and forth wiggle action is just amazing.
You're only limited by your imagination...
Now, catching a cod on a BM pikie or danny - that's my next challenge (already caught a few on a BM needle). Actually, it's not so hard, I could see it done while drifting the plug via a 3 way swivel setup ... provided it don't swim too funny 300 feet down.
