When do you go into Vampire Mode?

For me it's mid-late May. Anyone start hitting the night tides earlier?

I may do some trial as weather gets warm.
But I'm out there in ernest starting just before the full moon in may, or when the dandilions really start whichever comes first.
To simplify; Soon,,,,, very soon.

Town names are narrow enough but I think we are most concerned when it is a report...

Yeah, I know... It was a joke. Obviously not a good one.

One night - about 15 years ago - I was at an outflow in Rhody on May 5th and a who's who of RI Surfcasters were there - all getting big fish. I never would have known about it except for an invite.
But usually I don't switch over until the 15-20th of May.

I will wait for 50-51 degree water to be in full assault.
