Casting egg

which side of the egg do you tie the teaser or jig too... Anyone have any techniques that they use with these i am thinking of purchasing one.

You tie the egg to your line on the unweighted side. The weighted side gets the dropper of 3-4'. Use a small brad 1/2" in the egg to hang the fly/teaser on, when it hits the water the fly/teaser falls off and you fish it back.

yes a small brad is all you need to hang the teaser like a coat on a coat hanger.

I used the same set up on streams and ponds but much smaller "eggs".
The system really does work, I like the dropper nail. Trying to toss all that into the wind will surely develop into knots only Nature can tie.

i would imagine it is a good thing to toss it into the river and let the egg float it down stream... Like trout fishing when you float a wrom to the pool. Kinda Like that ?

I have even tied a dry fly to a float, and cast it to rises to hook trout. Not has much fun as a noodle-rod, but if your away from the truck, I figure you use what you got.
For Stripes, I can see the advantage. B#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g a big wind works your arm quite well, tossing an egg, sure beats staying home
