Question Full moon strategies for this weekend?

edit: sorry, meant FULL MOON in the title. duh.

so, how do you agree with the assertion that "on dark nights, fish dark colored plugs, and on bright nights, fish light colors?"

do you guys avoid fishing the FULL moon altogether?

does it really matter since it's the fall run?

any thoughts?

i have a sense your responses will vary depending on where you fish (RI or Mass).

I usually shy away from the full, but the full in September was real good, and you could read a newspaper it was so bright every night. Will be hitting it tonight as it looks like solid cloud cover will be in place. Plus, the season is nearing an end for me.Losing energy and interest at this point, wife's patience is getting thin too.

Fish it like any other nite. Eels first, plug or jig if I can't reach the fish with eel. Color not important.

fixed it Ben

It means nothing to me on the beach except I'd love to be able to get there before sundown but other than that I think they feed anyway wherever they are.
The canal is a different story, the current will be smoking, heavier jigs required, not good for the back.

No boat, back in the suds.

As for srategies for the moon- EELS maybe a sluggo
I really dont like full moons because something about them just doesnt feel right. However, I have had some great nights when it clouds up a bit.

Wife's patience is done. Back to being super dad/husband until mid May. Fishing wise, we had good fishing that seemed to drop off when the moon popped out last night, then picked back up when the cloud cover came back. Stick with the eels and give it hell for two-three more weeks.
