They actually swim great. I test swam my first dannys and it worked awesome, its pretty close to a cct kit i bought so i made 12 or so. The spooks were good, but my needles sucked. I have to work on the weighting. I want to make them slow sinking. The poppers were pretty good, i found that cutting the popper face at an angle helped alot with the action and im going to add a small belly weight along with a large tail weight to keep the lure even.

Actually i had to cut them by hand because my bandsaw is out of wack. I have to figure out how to adjust it to cut straight. Without the bandsaw its hard to get them exactly the same, i agree they arent perfect.
