Please make sure you are not an organ donor, or some poor soul may end up with a part of you in them........or even worse (as in the case of face transplants), on them. They might be able to use your private parts for bio-weapon research, however.

You're a perfectly normal well adjusted male, and don't let your wife or anybody else tell you anything different.

You are not crazy, just be extremely safe especially this time of year with all the sand on the streets. I've got neighbors that ride Harleys and that is all they talk about: ooops where did that pile of sand come from!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Exclamation Dave

Do us all a Favor and pretend that while driving the HARLEY

you are completely invisible .... because if you lay down on
the road way -> with cheek to tar....and look at an on coming car

you'll see two tires coming at you looking as if they will simply
drive around you or straddle you.... and you'll see the air underneath the car but not the car....

try it and you'll see what i mean.... this is exactly how dogs see cars -> especially the smaller dogs...

this is also how most motorist's see a person on a motorcycle too
their vision simply raps around them.... so never forget that !

there's nothing that can replace Flaptail in your life....
but if you could ask him....
he'd tell ya to fish often -> and fish with new friends
for a persons whole lifetime on planet Earth ....is 1-100 years
but .... while in Heaven it is only a minute or less

then again.... a lifetime on EARTH while miserable is an Eternity.

so .... that being said... your doing the right thing to have fun....

just be careful doing it... because
those fishing legs of yours are more valuable
than you could ever imagine.

Copied from Wikipedia

Individuals experiencing a mid-life crisis have some of these feelings:

search of an undefined dream or goal
a deep sense of remorse for goals not accomplished
desire to achieve a feeling of youthfulness
need to spend more time alone or with certain peers
They exhibit some of these behaviors:

abuse of alcohol
acquisition of unusual or expensive items such as motorbikes, boats, clothing, sports cars, jewelry, gadgets, tattoos, piercings, etc.
depression
blaming themselves or their partner for their failures.
paying special attention to physical appearance such as covering baldness, wearing "younger" designer clothes etc.
entering relationships with younger people (either/or sexual, professional, parental, etc.)
placing overimportance (and possibly a psychologically damaging amount) on their children to excel in areas such as sports, arts or academics.

I joke that I went through a mini early midlife crisis 2 years ago. I didnt think of it as a bad thing though. I think that sometimes we need to hit the reset button on our behavior patterns to keep life from getting stale, or to offset that which we feel is wrong in our lives so that we can move on.

Love it, enjoy it, embrace the moment and live it up while you still can!

Simplify.......

Getting ready to retire and having these same thoughts

I dream at night about buying a boat or a corvette. Used to have a vette, and a small boat.

Several nights in a row my wife woke me up and complained about how I was talking in my sleep and that I seemed upset. I asked her what I was saying, and she said, "something about the price of fuel at the dock, whats that about anyway?" Nothing honey, go back to sleep.

Get a trailerable boat! Then they can't gouge you at the dock. Sleep soundly.
