it's almost time.

i figure i'll wait till next week and rip off the shrink. it looks like we're going to start having some warmer days. i've got a few gremlins to chase down and bunch of little stuff i've been ignoring for a few seasons. then let the mechanic give it a once over. buy a seatow membership. find a nice warm day near the end of march and go look for some flatties in the harbor. it's so close, just a few weeks away. what's everybody else planning for a first trip?

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

I've been running a small electric space heater while I'm under the tarp doing the wiring. Risers/manifolds/exhaust in another 2 weeks, just looking for a good deal on the parts. I think I'm gonna pay someone to do the shaft seal, it scares the crap out of me.

just make sure you take the rope off the prop before you launch her this year Paul. Hopefully I'll be with you this year instead of just getting the 6 am phone call. Boss is gonna give me some more days this year I think. Talked to him about it today.

Boat's been ready but my tow vehicle died, intake coolant leak. Looks like I'm pulling the motor apart on this warm upcoming weekend.

I wont uncover until the last week of March, get her up to MTC for spring comission and then in the water 3rd week of April. Bass fishing starts for me the first week of May.

He did a lousy job shrink wrapping my boat this past fall and I had to wrestle with it all winter!

He was great to me until I had a problem, but seems to have a hard time dealing with the fact he screwed up and will not correct his mistake.

I am the last one to post anything bad about someone, but when they don't respond to a request to fix their mistake the gloves are off

Tom took care of me last year when my motor %$%$%$%$ the bed. It took longer than I would have liked and I made a bunch of calls and showed up a few times to get an ETA only to get punted but I dropped it off at their absolute busiest time of the year and Tom was going balls to the wall to get stuff done. Once he got around to me he was awesome to deal with and he took care of me big time when it came to the final bill so overall I was satisfied. I can understand your frustration though but I got to say I would and have referred him with no problems. No place is perfect but I was happy with the end result.

The time is now Awesome day out on Vineyard Sound. Took her out for a shake down cruise, threw a few lines in the water. No action, but a awesome day.
