I have used Sabachi rigds for herring and they work fine. If you car going to get your herring from a freshwater brook it is a lot easier to net them. Good Luck

I got a report tonight from Mac85 that Gloucester harbor looked like it was raining the other night it was so packed with herring.

Nightfigther- Never seen this area so saurated with bait fish since I was a kid ther are herring all over the place. The other day the birds were working from gloucester break water to thatchers light. What I'm surprised at that the big stripers aren't here with all this bait fish.
