BJ'S

Last week I picked up a bucket of ICE-MELT at BJ'S $19.95 SAID 50lbs,when I opened it it was 90% full, that S@%^S When my son came over he asked me to pick up some for him. I went back up to get some an was going to ASK about the bucket not being full.BUT they were OUT. so I shot next door to LOWES' 50lb BAG $18.95 thats sounds better + 10% discount as a veteran. I kept the BUCKET so I could refull w/ the Bag. I Cut it an FILLED the BUCKET an still had 1/4 of the BAG LEFT. WHAT weight system is BJ'S using
GOOD LUCK GOOD SHOPPING

Perhaps the previous ice melt was denser and thus had less volume.

I was wondering how a thread with the title BJ's could be in the grumpy old farts forum. I forgot about the store with that name.

That's really a trick question, you know. A pound of feathers is heavier than a pound of gold.

The reason is, gold is measured and sold by the Troy ounce, and there are just a little more than 14 Troy ounces in a pound.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.
