MonkeyPox
I heard on the radio news today that someone recently contracted MonkeyPox, which is much like smallpox and fatal...
God forgive me here:
Please promise me that if I get MonkeyPox and die, that there will be a special thread dedicated solely to jokes about it. This one would be too good to pass up..... She was APE over fishing.... Jigs made her BANANAS,.....
If you don't, I will haunt the site. I swear. And I will tie boots to the ends of your lines. Seriously. MonkeyPox has so many possibilities, you'd be foolish not to laugh.
(not at other victims, of course, but at the name "MonkeyPox." I am laughing right now...)

Sweetie,
I've been hearing on the news that it isn't fatal, so you won't have to haunt the site.

Sweatieface It's not fatal I got it a couple of years ago when I was running a plane load of illegal TV's to Mexico. A little cranberry juice will fix it right up

I just heard on the news it's rarely fatal and generaly contracted from prairie dogs in the mid-West. How that relates to the name Monkey Pox is anyone's guess. Kid in NJ's got it, but he just came back from Indiana where they think he got it.
