Fishing Cape Ann

Here we are into the second week of May and the schoolies started arriving last week. The Annisqwam river is a good start for the fly fishermen casting little deceivers in green/white, black/white with a small eye weight fished on the bottom.

The Mac's have been in the harbor the last couple of days. The big fish should be here within the week.

Dropped the boat in for the 1st time Sat. Cold/raw. Managed to pick away at a few flatties, but not much else happening.

Any size to them?

I usually fish flounders along Niles Beach area.

Seen gulls working by the coast guard station today and comrants working by fisherman statue. The mackerel nets will be put out soon over Magnolia. I know they have put the anchors out.
