There's a good number of good fisherman out there. Like Paul said, Joe is above all a good guy and a pleasure to be around. I can't say the same for a number of other highliners out there... I'm glad he's having a good season.

Daves a good guy, we had lots of laughs.. we always do... to answer and earlier question by Raven... slow grind on low numbers... most of these fish are large and very well fed ( puking sand eels and herring), there are not alot of them... each fish( 7 total that night) represent about30 - 50 casts... convincing them that a hunk of wood or plastic is worthy of gluttony is pretty much a fools errand.. big live eels ( 18"+) are the ticket if you want to trigger the greed...it's just the way it is.
